My Snake Likes Apples
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
A Day of Europa (the “developer”) collects gameplay records in My Snake Likes Apples only with your consent. This policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it.
1. Information we collect
If you agree to share gameplay data, we collect the following information.
- Game progress: game launches, run and floor starts and ends, themes, floors reached, outcomes and causes of death, and play time
- Upgrades and currency: owned and purchased upgrades, currency before and after purchases, and upgrades available to buy and their prices
- Record details: a randomly generated per-installation ID, record IDs, event and receipt times, and game version
We do not collect names, email addresses, Steam IDs, free-text input, or device specifications. We do not store IP addresses. The per-installation ID can link records from the same installation.
2. How we use the information
We use it only to improve game difficulty and upgrade balance.
3. Consent and withdrawal
Sharing is off by default. You can play without restrictions if you do not consent. You can turn sharing off at any time in the game settings. This stops the collection and transmission of new records and deletes unsent records on your device. Records already sent are deleted according to the retention periods below.
4. Retention periods
- Unsent records on your device: up to 7 days
- Gameplay records on the server: 90 days from receipt by the server
- Copies for analysis and backups: 90 days from receipt of the original records by the server
- Per-installation transmission authentication information: deleted when no records remain and there have been no transmissions for 90 days
Expired server records are deleted automatically every day. We delete records from copies and backups using the same retention periods.
5. Service providers
We use Cloudflare, Inc.’s server execution service (Workers) and database (D1) to transmit and store records. Cloudflare may process network information, such as IP addresses, when handling requests. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for details.
International data transfers take place as part of this process.
- Recipient: Cloudflare, Inc. (United States)
- Destination countries: the United States and countries where Cloudflare has data centers
- Information transferred: the information listed in section 1 and the installation token
- Timing and method: via HTTPS when the game sends records
- Retention periods: as listed in section 4
- How to refuse: turn sharing off in the game settings to stop transfers
Information processed by distribution platforms such as Steam is subject to their own policies.
6. Contact
Send privacy questions to the email address below. Do not include your installation token or password in your email.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. We will also notify you in the game when needed.
